Description of the RE Activities of Grameen Bidyut : Grameen Bidyut is a non-government, Sole Proprietorships organization dedicated to contribute in green energy, energy, poverty alleviation, education, literacy, rehabilitation, agriculture and rural development, preservation and development of environmental issues and social development. Started its journey in the year of 2012, Grameen Bidyut has been implementing a number of development programs including solar system, agriculture, poultry, fisheries, poverty alleviation, education, women, children development and environmental issues and social development.
Grameen Bidyut’s vision is to provide a solution to the problem of soaring energy crisis in Bangladesh by establishing a Solar Energy installation facility spearheading the growth of alternate energy revolution in Bangladesh.
The mission of Grameen Bidyut is guided in providing technical & financial supports enabling the target beneficiaries through their active participation (men and women) in various development programs to generate income and employment opportunities for their sustainable development and improvement of livelihood standard. Building community based institutions to address social issues through behavioral change in the community and building mutual trust in the process of their development.
Working Zone : The organization has its permanent office in Kushtia and also operated its corporate offices in Dhaka. Also strategically located in different areas of, Rajshahi, Khulna and Chittagong divisions.
